Carpet Layer
Visa sponsorship
Trade · Auckland, New Zealand · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored
If you have been laying carpet for years and want a steady place to grow, this could be a good fit. A caring, family-owned flooring business in Auckland, part of a national network, is welcoming an experienced Carpet Layer for a long-term spot on its team.
Good news for overseas applicants: the business is an accredited employer, so it is able to offer sponsorship for the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) in New Zealand.
Your days start from one base. You will take care of carpet installs for the business and its sister store in family homes and commercial spaces, from preparing the floor to that final neat edge. Work is Monday to Friday plus a couple of Saturdays monthly. There is an apprentice too, and the team hopes you will enjoy sharing what you know.
Let your hard-earned trade speak for itself, kabayan: tell your carpet installing story on a Build AI CV, with your laying years and licence up front.
