Visa sponsorship
Trade · Christchurch, New Zealand · Full-Time · $25 - $38/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Kabayan, if you have spent years laying floors, or you simply want to learn a solid trade, this Christchurch opening deserves a look. A well-established flooring business there is expanding and wants experienced installers, senior installers who can lead jobs, and motivated learners, apprentices included. More than one person may be hired.
Jobs are residential and light commercial, spread across the city and the surrounding area. The roles are permanent and full-time, with a minimum of 37.5 hours weekly and usually 40 to 42, mostly Monday to Friday and sometimes a little more. Senior installers handle each job from arrival to the finish and help organise another installer or a small crew, while trainees learn alongside experienced installers.
AEWV applicants are welcome, including those who need the employer's sponsorship support to apply for an Accredited Employer Work Visa, and employment is subject to obtaining the appropriate New Zealand work rights.
