Key Responsibilities
- Perform general carpentry on a variety of sites.
- Do framing, fixing and other construction duties.
- Install new roofing and carry out roof repairs, maintenance and related work.
- Measure and cut timber, frames, roofing materials and building components.
- Assemble and install those materials and components.
- Complete exterior cladding, architraves and steel stud work.
- Follow construction drawings, plans, specifications, measurements and instructions.
- Work safely and efficiently, keeping your workmanship to a high standard.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Relevant residential or commercial construction experience, a strong work history, and references that support your experience and the standard of your work.
- Ideally, you have experience in general carpentry, framing, fixing, roofing, exterior cladding, architraves, steel stud work and reading construction drawings, plans, specifications and measurements.
- Site Safe and other relevant trade tickets and licences would be an advantage.
- It is advantageous to have your own hand and power tools, and advantageous to hold a Drivers license and have your own vehicle.
