Kabayan, if you enjoy working with your hands and like seeing a project come together, this Auckland contract could be a good next step. A respected campervan conversion company is taking on a Campervan Builder, entry to mid level, for 9 weeks of full-time work.
The team builds custom campervans, rental fleet vans and commercial fit-outs. Day to day you would craft cabinets and furniture, finish interiors, fit windows and vents, and lend a hand on 12V and plumbing jobs, all from drawings and templates. The contract starts right away and runs Tuesday to Saturday until the Christmas close-down on 23 December.
Backpackers, temporary workers and working holiday visa holders are welcome. There is genuine potential for this to grow into an ongoing full-time role, and in that case visa sponsorship may be possible for the right person.

Key Responsibilities
- Craft and install cabinets and furniture for campervan interiors
- Fit wall linings, flooring and the final interior touches

- Lend a hand with 12V electrical and plumbing installs, guided by drawings, templates and build specs
Requirements & Eligibility
- Ideally you have worked in cabinetry, joinery or furniture making
- Time spent on 12V electrical, or in campervan, caravan or RV manufacturing, is an advantage too, not essential
- A practical, hands-on attitude and openness to learning
- Reliable and always punctual
- Ready to work Tuesday to Saturday
- Proud of doing quality work
