Your bricklaying experience could be the start of a long-term opportunity in Western Australia. A construction business in Perth is looking for qualified Bricklayers for ongoing residential and commercial projects.
The employer wants tradespeople with genuine hands-on experience, recognised trade qualifications and the ability to deliver quality work again and again on Australian building sites. If you have worked on construction projects in the Middle East or back home in the Philippines, that practical experience counts, as long as it can be verified.

Key Responsibilities
- Mix mortar and get it to just the right consistency
- Read building plans, drawings and project specs and understand what they need
- Set out the brickwork carefully before building starts
- Lay bricks and blocks true to the required lines, levels and specifications
- Measure as you go, using spirit levels and measuring tools to keep brickwork accurately aligned
- Use brick cutting machines and other trade equipment
- Finish every job to a high standard, spotting and fixing any alignment or workmanship problems
- Follow safety requirements and construction procedures on site, and look after your tools, equipment and work area
- Work alongside supervisors and the other trades
- Get your assigned tasks done efficiently and on schedule
Requirements & Eligibility
- A recognised Bricklaying trade qualification, minimum Certificate III or equivalent
- Professional bricklaying experience you can demonstrate
- Strong, practical knowledge of both residential and commercial construction
- Able to read and understand construction plans and to produce brickwork that is accurate and consistent
- Confident using brick cutting equipment, levels and measuring tools
- Understands health and safety practices in the construction workplace
- Reliable, professional and committed, and able to work on your own or with a construction team
- Physically able to do bricklaying work
- Able to show evidence of your relevant qualifications and work experience
- Overseas-qualified Bricklayers with suitable experience are welcome to apply, and sponsorship is available for suitable candidates once qualifications and experience have been assessed
