A customer-focused venue in NSW wants people like you for its bar and front of house team, where dependable attendance, good service skills and real hospitality experience are appreciated.
You will be greeting customers, keeping things flowing when the venue is packed and working side by side with your teammates. The role is a good match if you are at ease talking with guests, enjoy being part of a team and can hold service standards steady during the busiest hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet every guest warmly and look after them professionally at the front of house
- Write down food and drink orders correctly and answer guests' questions about the menu or service
- Mix, pour and serve drinks the way the venue's procedures set out
- Move between the bar, dining room and function areas whenever you are needed
- Keep service quick and smooth when it gets busy, giving guests attentive care from arrival to departure
- Keep your service area tidy, organised and looking its best
- Cooperate closely with the kitchen, bar and front-of-house crew
- Stick to RSA, workplace safety and responsible service rules
Requirements & Eligibility
- Front-of-house or hospitality experience you can demonstrate is preferred
- A current RSA certificate
- Proven skills in customer service and in communication
- A confident, professional manner with guests and a positive attitude, ready to contribute to the team
- Dependable attendance, a strong work ethic and the ability to work efficiently when the pace is fast
- Available for evenings, weekends and peak trading times
- Able to show genuine hospitality skills and relevant experience
- Eligible candidates may be considered for sponsorship
