Great barbering is about more than skill with the clippers. This role suits barbers who can show genuine barbering experience, relevant qualifications and a steady commitment to quality work and customer service, backed by a professional track record that can be clearly demonstrated.
If you have been cutting hair in the Philippines, the Middle East or elsewhere, gather your documents early so your experience can be verified.
Key Responsibilities
- Give clients top-quality haircuts, fades, styling, shaves and beard grooming
- Understand what each client wants and suggest styles and grooming that suit them
- Keep your workmanship consistent on every service
- Make every client feel welcome and professionally looked after, building good relationships with new and regular customers
- Keep your station clean, hygienic and organised, following workplace health, safety and hygiene rules
- Handle barbering tools and equipment properly and safely
- Keep a professional look and attitude
- Work well with the rest of the barbering team and help keep the shop positive and focused on customers
Requirements & Eligibility
- A valid passport
- An up-to-date, detailed resume/CV
- A relevant barbering qualification certificate
- At least 2 years of relevant professional barbering experience
- English language ability with a minimum score of 5
- Practical barbering skills you can demonstrate
- Verifiable proof of your employment history, such as employment letters, contracts or payslips, plus genuine and verifiable identity and employment documents
- Able to meet the requirements of full-time employment in Western Australia
- Sponsorship available: suitable candidates may be considered for sponsorship
