Key Responsibilities
- Give clients high-quality haircuts, styling and grooming
- Talk with each client about the style they like and what they need
- Do fades, tapers, classic cuts and contemporary styles
- Trim, shape and groom beards
- Handle professional barbering tools and equipment safely and well, with precision, consistency and attention to detail every time
- Make every client feel welcome with friendly, professional service
- Keep your workstation clean, sanitised and organised, and look after your barbering tools and equipment
- Stay up to date with the latest barbering styles, techniques and what customers want
- Move clients through their services efficiently when the shop is busy
- Follow hygiene, safety and professional standards at work and cooperate with the rest of the barbering team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience working as a Barber
- Solid practical knowledge of barbering and men's grooming, with hands-on experience in a professional barbering environment that you can demonstrate
- Able to offer a broad range of modern and traditional barbering services
- Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and client service skills
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude
- Reliable and responsible at work
- Able to keep up in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team
- Available for full-time and part-time work, with immediate availability being advantageous
- Sponsorship available for suitable eligible candidates
