You would be giving clients top-quality hair care, styling and men's grooming in a modern, air-conditioned salon, making sure each person walks out happy and that the salon's health and hygiene standards are always met. The employer is accredited, so visa sponsorship is available if required for a suitable candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Sit down with clients to agree on the haircut, colour and style they are after, beard-shaping and men's grooming included
- Cut and trim with scissors, clippers and razors, and taper, shape and style using other professional tools
- Look after men's grooming: beard and moustache trims, wet shaves and hot towel treatments
- Shampoo and condition hair and treat the scalp
- Apply and remove colour, tints, highlights and bleach, and do chemical straightening, relaxing or perming
- Use blow dryers, straighteners, curling irons and styling products to finish each look
- Advise clients on suitable products, hair and scalp care and keeping their style looking good
- Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean and sanitised to salon hygiene and health and safety standards, and help with appointments, schedules and payments as needed
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum of two (2) years' full-time experience in a Hairdresser or Barber role
- Proven technical skill in haircutting, colouring, styling and men's grooming
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus
- Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively with a team
- Sound knowledge of hygiene and safety practices in a salon
