Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems on heavy mobile equipment
- Track down and fix complex electrical and electronic faults, using sharp troubleshooting to keep downtime to a minimum
- Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Service and repair automotive air conditioning systems
- Check how equipment is performing and give technical recommendations
- Follow Australian workplace safety standards while completing maintenance work
- Keep service paperwork and repair records accurate and up to date
- Provide dependable, professional field service support
- Work with your teammates to lift service quality and operational efficiency
Requirements & Eligibility
- Applicants must have verifiable trade experience and employment history
- Qualified Auto Electrician holding a recognised trade certification
- Hands-on, demonstrated experience with heavy vehicles, mining equipment or mobile plant
- Strong background in diagnostics and electrical fault finding
- Air conditioning systems experience preferred
- Able to read electrical diagrams and technical information
- Current driver's licence
- Able to meet the required site medical and workplace requirements
- Good English communication skills for reporting and workplace safety
- Comfortable working on your own and as part of a team, with a commitment to safe work practices and high-quality workmanship
