AP/MPI Certified Warehouse Person

Ready to take the next step in your warehouse and container operations career? A long-term opportunity is open in Auckland, New Zealand for a current AP Holder / MPI Certified professional.
You will be responsible for making sure container devanning is done safely, efficiently and in line with MPI requirements. It is more than a regular warehouse job: you will combine MPI compliance, operational oversight and documentation with hands-on unloading.
If you enjoy being actively involved in daily operations and take pride in keeping standards high, this role could be a great fit, whether your warehouse experience was gained in the Philippines, the Middle East or elsewhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Take charge of daily container devanning and unloading
- Make sure MPI requirements and procedures are followed properly, and stay compliant through every stage of unloading
- Fill out MPI documentation, inspection records and any other paperwork needed
- Help unload, handle and move goods
- Keep an eye on container processing so deadlines are met
- Speak up about any compliance, safety or operational concerns
- Work well with the other warehouse and container handling staff
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
- Keep records and documents accurate, and help keep the workplace efficient, organised and productive
- Pitch in with other warehouse tasks when needed
Requirements & Eligibility
- You must hold a valid, current AP/MPI Certification
- Previous experience in warehousing, container handling or devanning
- Practical knowledge of MPI requirements and procedures
- Physically fit and able to do regular manual lifting, and comfortable in a hands-on operational environment
- Reliable, with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team
- Strong understanding of workplace timeframes and deadlines
- Able to follow instructions and compliance procedures accurately, and committed to strict health and safety standards
- Available for early morning starts and full working days
- Relevant overseas candidates may be considered for sponsorship
